Internal Carparks, whether Multi-storey carparks or Basement carparks, require high light levels with good uniformity. The Lights chosen must fit within the clearance space, ie. the difference in height between the Ceiling and the maximum height of any vehicle entering the Carpark (usually determined by an overhead Barrier at the Entrance).

A typical installation would use linear Lights as they are cost-effective, but generally do not provide an attractive environment. Clutter is the usual result. In addition, it is not always easy to know the direction of access lanes or identify junctions as Linear Lights are usually pointed the same way so do not always match the direction of the Access lanes within the carparks. VeeLite offers both linear and round multi-storey car park Lights.

Round Luminaires are an effective solution for Projects which do not wish to use Linear lighting. Round Lights are smaller, more discreet and attractive and reduce both the clutter effect and the directional effect of Linear Lights.

The same Luminaires can also be used on other low height ceiling applications, such as an external canopy. The Photos below show the Blackrock Clinic Hospital – VeeLite Streetlights at the entrance area and VeeLite Parkdiscs on the internal.
