Hurling Wall Lighting
Hurling has higher lighting requirements than other Sports because the ball is smaller and moving faster.
The hurling wall lighting for St Martins GAA Club in Co Wexford was provided using VeeLite Floodlights. The Floodlighting is designed and located to provide high illuminated levels, but with minimum glare (especially if both sides of the Hurling Wall are used) to both Players as well as Neighbouring sites.
Similar schemes have been installed in several GAA Clubs in recent years including Naomh Eoin, Co Carlow as shown. In this case, the Floodlighting illuminates both the Pitch and the Hurling Wall.
