Killiney Hill
The Killiney Hill Obelisk and public park was built in 1887. There is no electricity supply nearby so it was an ideal Project for solar powered Floodlighting.
Four LED Floodlights were located at each corner of Steeple. Each was a 50w LED RGB (Colour changing) together with a Battery Bank and Solar Panels. On site, the colour of the light can be chosen from a wide range of colours, depending on Season, or Events etc. The configuration and location of equipment is determined by VeeLite in associated with the customer. Because of the variables and restrictions, each Project is determined separately.
Arklow Dog Park
VeeLite manufactures and supplies a wide range of Solar Lighting for roadway and carpark Projects, also flooding lighting and area lighting projects.
In Arklow Dog Park there is no electricity supply nearby, so it was an ideal Project for solar powered Streetlighting.
Five LED Streetlights were located around the perimeter of the park. Each was a 10w LED Streetlight together with a Battery and Controller in the base of the pole and a Hexagonal Wrap Solar Panels at the top of the pole. The configuration and location of equipment is determined and planned by VeeLite in association with the customer. Because of the variables and restrictions, each Project is planned separately.
VeeLite manufactures and supplies a wide range of Solar Lighting for roadway and carpark Projects. Traditionally, Solar lighting was only used in remote areas where the cost of connecting to the Electricity Grid was very high, but today it is increasingly used in mainstream Projects. Costs have lowered and the technology has improved dramatically, so paybacks are often quicker than grid-powered lighting.
