Designer Streetlights were installed at Linear Park, which is located in central Dublin alongside the National Convention Centre where the River Canal flows into the River Liffey. All along both sides of the Royal Canal are walkways rest areas and lighting. This is the major amenity in this part of Dublin and for the nearby Financial Services district.
The general external and Pathway illumination was supplied with 61 x designer ‘Shot’ streetlights all with a ‘street optic’ Reflector system (to suit the pathways which surround the Canal and grass areas). The Streetlights look like HighBays mounted on Side arms near the top of the Poles. A total of 23 x 8m lighting Columns were required to suit the single, twin and triple head arrangement. Some of the Luminaires are tilted to illuminate adjoining areas and so are more like Floodlights.
