LED Bollards

VeeLite offers a wide range of Lighting Bollards with different shapes, heights, Beam optics, RAL finishes, dimming, internal motion sensor control, etc. While most LED Bollards are constructed from Aluminium, we also offer Stainless Steel or Galvanised Steel options.

Stainless Steel provides an attractive architectural finish and we typically provide a polished or brushed finish.

Galvanised Steel is used for increasing strength and reducing risk due to Vandalism for example. We offer this with Bollards on Greenways for example.

VeeLite offers LED Lighting Bollards, with combined Aluminium and Steel Construction for robust public applications such as Greenways, Cycleways and Pedestrian areas. With efficient and wide optics to illuminate single or twin carraigeways, the Bollard can be supplied with various options and the Height can be varied depending on requirements.

At Planning stage, concerns were raised about using 6M high Poles with Street Lights and a preference was expressed for low level Bollard Lights.

The Stainless Steel LED Bollard shown can be offered at different heights as well as optics and finishes. The same Bollard can also be offered in Aluminium construction with different RAL finishes.

LED Bollards with internal Motion Sensor

VeeLite 15w LED Bollards, with internal motion sensors – Quantity 44 Bollards in total. The Department for International Development is a UK Government Agency which promotes sustainable development overseas and has a policy of reducing energy consumption in its own Buildings, including its East Kilbride, Glasgow Headquarters.

These 1m high Bollards are suitable for pathways, gardens and plaza areas, due to their robust construction and since 2021 have an average rated lifetime of up to 100,000 hours.

These new Bollards provide a high level of illumination in comparison with traditional Bollards with typical energy savings of 85%, more uniform illumination and significantly reduced maintenance. Internal motion sensors are available to switch the lighting off (or to 10% output) when there is no pedestrian traffic nearby.

Wireless group switching is available as an option. In this way, when a motion sensor within one of the Bollards is activated, all the other bollards will switch on, or off, at the same time.

The LED Bollards are finished in Grey RAL 9006 as standard (other colours on request), 1m high as standard (but at various heights on request (up to 2.3m), rooted or flanged, symmetric or asymmetric types available, and with 4K light output as standard (3K on request).
