Hotel Lighting

External Hotel Lighting can consist of various applications including entrance roads, car parks, Plaza, Pedestrian and general walkway areas, Landscaping areas (Gardens, Trees, Shrubbery etc), Floodlighting of Facades, working areas such as delivery or storage yards, Sports areas (Tennis Courts etc) and so on.

VeeLite has supplied both internal and external Lighting to Hotels and other commercial Buildings. We design lighting schemes to minimise the number of Lights needed, but enough to ensure compliance with good lighting standards. This design process would also seek to minimise the height and visibility of lighting as far as practical. External Lighting can be supplied to a specific RAL in order to compliment or match the Building, which can further reduce the visibility of Lights. The style and appearance of the Lighting is then chosen to enhance the Hotel’s appearance.

For general entrance areas, entrance roads and the areas in front of the Hotel which would be visable to Visitors, there is usually an emphasis on both Form and Function (ie. Appearance and Performance). The Hotel External Lighting needs to provide a safe and welcoming lighting environment, but also to enhance the attractiveness of the Hotel. This can be achieved by either a discreet, low profile lighting system which almost disappears during daytime or alternative by using architectural Lights which are very visable by daytime. In both cases, the lighting produced must be suitable for purpose and provide an attractive effect. In many cases, the lighting will be discreet or hidden where possible, but Architectural Lights will be used where it is not practical to hide the Lights.

Internally, VeeLite has supplied Hotel Lighting for Swimming Pools, large Halls such as Conference or Exhibition Centres, Basement or Multi-storey car parks, etc.
