Hospitals and Medical External Lighting

Hospitals typically have a requirement for higher quality lighting as many of the Users and Visitors will have poorer mobility, eyesight and general awareness, often due to illness or old age. This often translates into higher average lux levels, higher uniformity, less shadows and less clutter. VeeLite has supplied external Hospital lighting to many Medical facilities including Primary Care Centres, Care Centres, Retirement Homes, etc. A sample of these facilities is shown in the attached photos and includes both private and public Projects.

The LED Lighting offered includes dedicated Car Park or Area Lights, as well as Streetlights for both Car parks and access roads. Pedestrian areas are illuminated by a variety of solutions, including Bollards for Courtyards and Entrance areas, or Groundlights or small Floodlights for Landscape areas or architectural effect.

VeeLite’s LED Car Parks Lights are designed to illuminate an area of 50M x 50M. Together with LED Streetlights, they are designed for a life of 100,000 hours to minimise maintenance and running costs and maximise lifetime.

In addition to Area and Street lights, the Photos show Lighting in Hospital Multi-storey and Basement Carparks, Heritage Lighting in older style facilities, Bollards and Wands in Pedestrian areas or to highlight Entrance areas or Pedestrian crossings. VeeLite offers a lighting design service to achieve the optimum lighting solution which meets lighting standards with the most efficient layout scheme.
