Titanic Quarter Belfast

Titanic Quarter Belfast

2011: Decorative Street lights were installed along several Streets in the Titanic Quarter of Belfast, including Great Queen Street shown below. These sleek and die-cast aluminium street lights combine attractive minimal appearance with good functionality including efficiency, good photometric performance and optional technical features such as electronic gear or electronic internal mini-photocells. Since then, these Luminaires have been re-introduced in LED version and with various dimming control options – click for details.

The 57 Street lighting Poles are 10m high, of tapered conical construction and finished in RAL 9006 grey and with both single and twin brackets mounted on top.   In some locations (including the area shown in the photo), there is also an Origin street lighting Luminaire at 5m on the back of the Pole for Footpath illumination. There is a total of 95 Origin Street Lights supplied in this phase.

The decorative street lights scheme includes the nearby Titanic Experience Building.  This area is being Developed by Harcourt Developments – see video.  Many of these Streets adjoin the Harland & Wolff Shipyard areas and the distinctive Yellow Cranes are in the background.
