July 2022:  The refurbished Dun Laoghaire Baths makes widespread use of a Hand Rail system with integrated lighting.  This is used on several stairways and ramps.  In many cases, the Hand Rail is bolted to a Wall or on the Ramp, it is bolted to a Metal Fence. The lighting consisted of 2 unit types, totalling 64M in Length.  This consisted of 35 smaller units – 390mm long – 4.5w each and 74 larger units – 680mm long – 9w each. The entire system is run from 24V remote drivers.

The lighting provides night time lighting on the Steps and Ramp as well as general area illumination, and provides an attractive ambiance as well as a functional and safety purpose.
